Is it worth it to spend two days in the Sahara desert 🐫?

Long drive –

We left Marrakech early in the morning, it was set to be a long drive with one night on the way. This would promise I would get the chance to visit the historical place Warrzazat ورززات and get a taste of movies and TV shows set, a life one. Since it is on my my to the desert

And you should stop there the tour in the Atlas studio cost 70MD, almost 7$ and you get the opportunity to be part of one of my favorite movie, can you guess which one?

The way to go

On my way, I witnessed lots of trailers on the road up the mountain it was interesting since everyone kept saying the best way is to take a 4×4 car, yet we hadn’t arrived at the dune yet so it was good and it would give you the advantage of stopping were ever you want and not necessary to touristic places.

Downsize is expensive since you are renting, and filling gas but hi you don’t need hotels or to eat in a lousy restaurant 😅

The best second would be a private tour, and it is way expensive you have a driver and a guide Ora driver is a guide, and for 3 days it could get up to 700€ including the luxury accommodation and breakfast or dinner, lunch is on you

It is the best way for people looking to have a privacy and have the budget to it.

If you are on a budget you probably would go with a group or join some, it will cost you 120€-150€ and it will include dinner, breakfast and transportation, accommodation is less luxury than the private one, yet young people our people on budget would mind.

Eventually when you get to the desert you can have a camel 🐪 ride our a buggy ride, and after you get to your accommodation depends what did you book.

And what should you expect?

Quite even when there’s a lot of people you can since the quiet, enjoy the sand, you even might get into the wild life (just a jumping rabbit 🐇) and a look of the starts it got me disy a bit and ohh walking on the sand could be reviving forcing you to use all you muscles, it sure felt like a practice 🫣😅 and it did feel like I’m in shape 😂😂 I almost sinked or it just felt like that.

Eventually, I would recommend you visit the Sahara for a night or two or more you can meet the locals if you talk to your guide or start a conversation, but be aware there are tourist traps just any other place you visit.

Enjoy and capture many photos and make sure you take some with your eyes and heart.

My guide was M’hamed Ait El Acid

And with the Camel, it was Yousef whom I didn’t take his details although he made sure I enjoyed my experience.
